A Gorgeous Glacier National Park Elopement
Dan and Cassie took advantage of our Montana Elopement Packages to have the most gorgeous and wild mountain top elopement. We love the intimacy of a totally private elopement ceremony - that’s one of the reasons we’re in the elopement business, after all! - but there’s just this totally different and joyful energy when the family gets involved.
For this Glacier National Park elopement, Dan and Cassie invited eight of their nearest and dearest to celebrate with them. We climbed up to the gorgeous Sun Point, where the couple stood and said their vows with the jaw-dropping views of St Mary Lake behind them, rimmed by the mountains. The wedding party wore shades of blue and grey, and it echoed the glorious stretches of water and sky all around.
It was so joyful up there, with the wind in our hair, vows being said, and the closest people cheering Dan and Cassie on! After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a delicious little picnic together for a moment of true celebration. It was the perfect Glacier National Park Elopement.
Pitstop at Lunch Creek
The adventure didn’t stop at Sun Point - we took Cassie and Dan to Lunch Creek for their couples photos. We were so glad we did! The dramatic boulders surrounding the rushing creek and the moody pine forest have such a different atmosphere from the triumphant hilltop at Sun Point. That’s one of the amazing things about a Glacier National Park elopement experience - you get to explore a whole world, with different atmospheres and elements - but all breathtakingly beautiful.
