This intimate Montana mountain micro wedding was full of joy and beauty! Jeff and Kelsey hosted their closest circle of friends and family to witness their mountain top elopement. It was so sweet to see what a close connection the families shared - instead of two different groups coming together, it really felt like one whole family on an adventure together.
Playful Western Touches In a Montana Mountain Micro Wedding
Jeff and Kelsey were hooked up by Jeff's best friend’s wife! Kelsey had only known her a few hours when this friend told her, point-blank: “I know your future husband.” They introduced her to Jeff and the rest is history! How amazing is that?
One of our favorite moments was when the groom and his guys put their cowboy hats on at sunset and pulled out their cigars for a photo. It had a "Texas" meets the Montana mountains feel. This whole micro wedding was colored by the couple’s amazing sense of adventure.
Avalanche Lake Day After Adventure Shoot
This sense of adventure was most clearly seen the day after the Montana mountain micro wedding when we took them on a day after adventure to one of our new favorite spots in the park: Avalanche Lake. Jeff and Kelsey decided to get back into their wedding attire when we made it to the lake. It was a total blast! We are always up for going the extra mile to go to the most specular spots with our couples, and Kelsey and Jeff really made the most of it. They both got in the freezing lake water in their wedding clothes! We love the photos that came out of this incredible adventure session.
